About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing your lounge to ensure it remains an amazing place to work and a great destination for the local community. Your primary objective is to guarantee that every customer leaves satisfied.

Compensation Package
  • The annual salary for this position can range from £42,000, depending on experience and performance.
  • We offer 40 and 48 hour contracts, providing flexibility and work-life balance.
  • A bonus scheme is in place, with potential earnings of up to £5,000 per year for General Managers, paid twice annually.
  • Overtime pay is provided for any hours worked beyond contracted hours.
Key Responsibilities

As a General Manager, you will:

  • Lead your team to deliver exceptional shifts, taking ownership of your lounge's success.
  • Maintain high standards while implementing unique approaches to management.
  • Ensure seamless operations, addressing labor, stock, food safety, customer sentiment, and other key areas.
  • Develop and implement successful training programs for front-of-house teams.
  • Foster a positive work environment, encouraging teamwork and collaboration.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • You should have experience as a General Manager, Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager, or Restaurant Manager, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • You must be familiar with managing through clear KPIs and making decisions considering various factors.
  • Prior experience in recruitment and training is essential, particularly for front-of-house teams.
  • Bonus points if you have some background in back-of-house operations and understand the dynamics of kitchen teams.
