About the Role

Evelyn Partners is a market-leading integrated wealth management and professional services group, offering a wide range of financial and professional services to clients across the UK. As a Compliance Officer, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of good client outcomes, a compliant and risk-aware culture, and the Group's business model and strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Regulatory Horizon Scanning: Conduct the identification, analysis, monitoring, and evaluation of Financial Services regulatory pronouncements that impact on Evelyn Partners' activities.
  • Regulatory Change Implementation: Support the development and maintenance of implementation plans, prepare packs for Regulatory Developments led meetings, and take minutes where required.
  • Compliance Learning Programme: Support the design and implementation of Evelyn Partners' compliance learning programme, consulting with compliance policy owners on how learning interventions should be designed and delivered, and collaborating with colleagues from across the three lines of defence to support the embedding of a client and risk-focused culture across the Group.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Good knowledge and understanding of relevant FS Wealth Management regulatory requirements, including FSMA 2000/FCA rulebook.
  • Experience of working in the wealth management compliance sector.
  • Good inter-personal skills, judgement, and decision-making ability, and a determined and proactive approach.
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary (£55,000 - £65,000 per annum).
