Dental Officer

The Public Dental Service is seeking a skilled professional to assist with the provision of clinical general dental services across NHS Ayrshire and Arran.
The successful candidate will provide emergency care to unregistered patients at NHS dental sites, including Ayr Hospital and North West Kilmarnock Area Centre. They will also provide care to patients in HMP Bowhouse.
Candidates require experience and competence in providing a comprehensive range of dental treatments to a high standard.
The post is a fixed-term 22.5 hour contract, working Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical general dental services to patients across NHS Ayrshire and Arran.
- Assist with emergency care to unregistered patients at NHS dental sites.
- Provide care to patients in HMP Bowhouse.
- Work collaboratively with the Public Dental Service team to achieve service goals.
Requirements:
- Experience and competence in providing a comprehensive range of dental treatments.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
