About the Role

MagnetIX is partnering with a rapidly expanding construction company to find a skilled Payroll & Accounts Administrator. This is an on-site role based in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, and requires a daily commute of 30 minutes or less.

Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll: Manage payroll reporting, checking, and processing. Sign off agency worker timesheets and self-employed workers through StoneBridge. Process payroll weekly.
  • Invoicing: Upload invoices to the system. Administer and rename files to relevant projects and suppliers. Upload invoices to Xero, line by line, and process payments.
  • Expenses: Approve expenses using the Breathe HR system weekly. Perform reconciliations and process payments after approval.
Requirements
  • Experience in payroll and administrative tasks.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to ensure accurate audits by governing bodies.
  • Driven, hardworking, and dedicated to work.
