About the Role

Elevation Recruitment Group is proud to partner with a leading manufacturing company based in the Ripley area, seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their team.

Salary: £45,195

Location: Ripley

Hours: 3 shifts rotating, with an early finish on Friday afternoon shift

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out proactive and reactive maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of plant and equipment
  • Assisting apprentices in their development and training
  • Conducting risk assessments as required
  • Working collaboratively as part of a team, while also working independently when necessary
  • Ensuring all plant and equipment is ready for production each day
  • Contributing to continuous improvement projects to enhance the business
  • Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times
  • Ordering spare parts as needed
  • Performing general site maintenance duties as required
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of Level 3 or above in Mechanical Engineering (City and Guilds - Apprentice trained)
  • Advantageous to have HNC and HND qualifications
