About Us:

ENGINEERINGUK is a leading company that has improved the health, behavior, welfare, and performance of horses globally through its portfolio of products and services. We are now seeking an enthusiastic equine veterinary researcher with a strong interest in nutrition to join our team as the Global Equine Science & Nutrition Director.

As the successful candidate, you will have the opportunity to develop and deliver the equine research strategy in line with business requirements, manage research projects and supervise PhD students, and plan, organise, supervise, publish and present research projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the Mars equine research strategy and project portfolio
  • Collaborate with family stakeholders, external partners and key opinion leaders to advance equine research
  • Provide associate training and veterinary and nutritional support to key customers when required

Requirements:

  • PhD or similar post-graduate qualification in equine science
  • Proven experience in managing research projects and supervising PhD students
  • Strong skills in planning, organising, supervising, publishing and presenting research projects

What We Offer:

  • An estimated annual salary of £95,000 - £125,000 based on location and experience
