About the Role

We are seeking an experienced leader to join our team at AWS EMEA SARL (UK Branch) - F93 as a Regulatory Industry Specialist - Regulatory Operations. This role will be responsible for leading our efforts to meet EU regulatory obligations and oversight expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement regulatory strategies that meet EU regulatory requirements.
  • Align stakeholders on regulatory expectations and develop solutions that balance regulatory requirements with operational efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain regulatory relationships, examinations, and collaborate across teams to deliver results.
  • Drive results by monitoring responsiveness, exercising judgment on our approach to oversight, and escalating to reduce blockers.
  • Measure and analyze existing processes for opportunities to innovate and improve.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or other related fields, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in project/program management in a technical field.
  • 7+ years of IT security audit, compliance, and/or relevant regulatory experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with monitoring and automating security controls.
  • Record of delivery of IT process improvement projects with technology processes and/or major tech companies.
  • Experience in cloud technologies.
  • Experience in performing technical assessments and documentation of network, operating systems, application security, as well as auditing IT processes.
  • Understanding of evaluating the design and effectiveness of IT controls.
