Children's Team Lead

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the welfare team and providing pastoral care to students. This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as flexibility and a willingness to work hard.
About the Role:- Lead the welfare team and ensure high standards of pastoral care.
- Work closely with the Welfare Manager to provide guidance and support.
- Maintain accurate medical records and handle unwell students.
- Sustain a clean and tidy environment, collaborating with Housekeeping as necessary.
- Support students during meal times, free time, and nighttime supervision duties.
- Ensure each student's dietary and religious needs are met.
- Carry out administrative tasks for medicine training and first aid.
- Supervise mealtimes on a rota basis and complete regular headcounts.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain safety and security within accommodation.
- Familiarize yourself with BSC Safeguarding Policies and adhere to them.
- Experience working with children and teenagers.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Previous experience as an Assistant Welfare Leader or similar role.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Flexibility and willingness to work hard.
- Right to work in the UK or EU (depending on the centre).
