Automotive Maintenance Specialist

Derbyshire County Council is seeking a skilled Automotive Maintenance Specialist to support the upkeep and repair of its diverse fleet of vehicles, including cars, minibuses, light goods vehicles, trailers, and engineering plant. To be successful in this role, you will require a strong background in vehicle maintenance and repair operations, holding a minimum of an NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) vocational qualification.
This position involves working in a workshop environment but may also require attendance at vehicles at the roadside or customer depots. The ideal candidate will possess excellent diagnostic skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
- Generous annual leave entitlement: 25 days plus 5 additional days after 5 years of service, plus 8 bank holidays
