Senior Advocate Job Profile
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Advocate to join our team in Dorset. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to make a meaningful contribution to the lives of children and young people.
About the Job
As a Senior Advocate, you will be responsible for managing a team of advocates, recruiting new members, and providing ongoing support and supervision to ensure the highest standards of service delivery.
Your duties will include:
- Leading the advocacy service in Dorset, promoting its values and mission
- Managing referrals and allocating cases to suitable advocates
- Conducting regular supervision sessions to ensure best practice
- Providing advocacy support to children and young people
- Monitoring referrals, activity, and budgets to inform data-driven decisions
Key Requirements
To succeed in this challenging role, you will need:
- Significant experience in advocacy or a related field
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with bespoke systems and data reporting
