Job Title: Qualified Nursery Practitioner

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Nursery Practitioner to join our client's team in Crawley. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years old.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing high-quality care and supervision to children in line with EYFS guidelines.
  • Planning and implementing age-appropriate activities and experiences to support children's learning and development.
  • Building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to promote a sense of belonging and well-being.
  • Observing and assessing children's progress and planning individualised learning experiences to meet their needs.
  • Maintaining a safe and hygienic environment at all times, including conducting regular risk assessments and adhering to health and safety procedures.
  • Supporting children's personal care routines, including feeding, toileting, and nap times, with sensitivity and respect for their individual needs.
  • Collaborating with colleagues and parents to share information, plan activities, and support children's holistic development.
  • Engaging in continuous professional development and training to enhance knowledge and skills in early childhood education.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working in a nursery setting, with a sound understanding of the EYFS framework.
  • Passionate about providing high-quality care and education to young children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and safeguarding procedures relevant to working with young children.
