**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Store Delivery Assistant to join our team at JD Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for receiving, processing, and storing merchandise, as well as assisting in maximizing store profitability.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Accept and book in store deliveries using delivery systems in place.
- Handle deliveries on a daily basis, maintaining order and tidiness, avoiding damage and preventing stock loss.
- Contribute to the profitability of the retail operation by receiving, handling, and managing the inventory of merchandise and supplies in a timely and organized manner.
- Ensure compliance of stockroom procedures in handling stock & make sure all product is priced correctly.
- Ensure that products are accessible, constantly available, and properly distributed.
- Assist in maintaining standards on the shop floor & replenish stock levels when needed, making sure the full-size range is on the shop floor where possible.
- Deputise for other staff, work within departments, or carry out other duties as required.
- Always represent JD Sports in the most professional manner.
**Requirements:**
- You will be able to communicate confidently with colleagues and customers.
- Passionate about providing exceptional operations standards.
- Strong attention to detail when working.
- Strong organisational Skills.
- Ability to prioritise workload effectively.
