Catering Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our Retail Catering team as a Catering Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality food and beverage service to patients, staff, and visitors across our hospital sites.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver food and beverages to patients throughout the day, ensuring timely and efficient service.
- Provide a polite, courteous, and helpful service to all customers, including patients and staff.
- Work collaboratively with the Retail Catering team to maintain a clean and hygienic environment, adhering to Trust Infection Control Policies.
- Operate cash handling and till systems, processing transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare, deliver, and set up hospitality requirements as needed.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and visitors.
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays, as part of a rotating shift pattern.
- Basic oven cooking skills and ability to prepare simple meals.
- Good time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Commitment to providing a high-quality service, with a focus on customer satisfaction and safety.
