Sales Development Representative Job Description

The Sales Development Representative is a key member of our Strategic field sales organization, responsible for identifying and qualifying sales opportunities. This role involves partnering with field sales representatives and the marketing organization to qualify leads and generate demand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Global Accounts: Collaborate with Global Accounts to identify areas of growth and expansion opportunities.
  • Prospect and Conduct Research: Use various tools, including Google, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and others, to prospect and conduct research on accounts.
  • Develop Account Profiles: Create comprehensive account profiles to support expansion efforts.
  • Execute Outbound Programs: Develop and execute multi-channel outbound programs to increase attendance at events, webinars, and to create awareness of the Dynatrace platform.
  • Track Activities: Utilize CRM-Salesforce.com to track activities and work towards meeting defined KPIs.

Qualifications

  • Experience Working with IT Management: Experience working with senior IT Management, including CTOs, CIOs, Directors of IT Operations, and others.
  • Understanding of IT Management Solutions: Understanding of IT or DevSecOps management solutions is a plus.
  • CRM Experience: Experience using a CRM, specifically Salesforce.com, is preferred.
  • Customer Service and Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as cold calling experience, are required.
  • Problem Solving and Interpersonal Skills: Strong problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills are necessary.
  • Ability to Work in a Team Environment: Ability to work both individually and in a team environment is essential.
