Job Title: Senior HR Business Partner

As a Senior HR Business Partner at Amazon UK Services Ltd. - A10, you will play a critical role in delivering the HR plan for the site(s). You will work closely with Senior Operations Managers, Functional Heads, and other stakeholders to provide pragmatic, commercial, and employee-focused coaching advice and support to operations managers and area (shift) managers and/or several support functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement projects that address workplace environment, employee engagement, or retention issues.
  • Conduct diagnostics to identify trends and environmental ER or workplace issues, communicating findings and formulating and deploying strategic remedies to identified work place issues.
  • Support the rollout of network compliance initiatives and understand and independently counsel the business regarding local employment law and legislation changes.
  • Lead on all salaried hiring, partnering with respective SOM/OM/Functional Heads, and develop department recruiting strategies and goals.
  • Develop and execute the OLR process across site and follow through of outcomes and next steps, preparing managers, providing training/guidance on tools, and co-facilitating a department or group OLR.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers on performance-related matters, ensuring that performance issues are documented accurately within associated tools and progress is reported.
Requirements:
  • Be qualified to Bachelor degree level or hold CIPD Level 7 qualification.
  • Have significant HR experience as a senior leader, ideally within a high-volume, fast-paced, and customer-focused environment.
  • Possess strong change management, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Be experienced in managing a team of HR professionals.

  • Be a progressive, hands-on, and customer-obsessed individual with the credibility and gravitas to succeed in a fast-moving and customer-focused operational environment.
  • Have a deep problem-solving and analytical capability, experience of managing and analyzing HR metrics to find root causes and develop short, medium, and long-term plans.
  • Be able to develop effective working relationships with employees at all levels.
  • Have a proven hands-on attitude, be flexible, and adaptable.
  • Be able to demonstrate the ability to motivate others and influence work behaviors.
  • Have strong change management, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Be able to operate with discretion, reliability, and role-modeling leadership principles.
  • Be able to work independently, multitask, organize, and prioritize your workload and work to strict deadlines.
