Senior Python Developer / Software Engineer (Python API SaaS)

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Developer to join our team in Cambridge. As a Senior Python Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality software and APIs with a focus on backend development.

About the Role:

  • Contribute to the core product, an AI and Machine Learning platform used in the automotive sector.
  • Work across the full development lifecycle, from design to deployment.
  • Collaborate with a senior Agile team to deliver complex projects.
  • Provide code reviews, project leadership, and technical guidance.
  • Take ownership of particular projects, working independently.

About You:

  • Strong software engineering background with OOP languages.
  • Experience working on SaaS products.
  • Good knowledge of software engineering best practices.
  • Comfortable taking ownership of projects.
  • Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools, including Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud computing services.
  • Collaborative with great communication skills and Agile team experience.
  • 2.1 or above in a STEM discipline, Computer Science or similar.
