Job Description

S&P Global, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst - Credit Risk to join our team in [Location]. As a key member of our Structured Credit team, you will be responsible for enhancing our ability to effectively serve clients by demonstrating outstanding analytical excellence.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a portfolio of predominantly CLO credits, reviewing documents, considering legal dimensions of transaction structures, developing an understanding of and applying relevant rating criteria, assessing the credit profile of collateral pools, working with financial and cash flow models to stress test the structures and enhancement levels under various economic scenarios, independently preparing and presenting analysis and recommendations to credit committees, assisting the preparation and presentation of analysis by a senior team member and recommendations to credit committees, conducting analyses on complicated SF transactions with appropriate risk factor identification, measurement, and presentation, acting as a proactive member in ratings committees and in the team, working closely with analysts to provide research and analysis for the Structured Finance team, analyzing data and reviewing documentation for the analytical team, undertaking research in support of S&P Global Ratings published commentaries, understanding and implementing S&P's Policies, taking the lead on special projects within the Structured Finance as appropriate.

Requirements

We are looking for a Degree in Engineer, Mathematics, Physics, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related subject/Pursuing post graduate studies/CFA, with 3-6 years' experience in Securitization and/or CLO or credit analysis or related analytical fields. The ideal candidate should possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, good attention to detail, demonstrable analytical work experience in the financial services industry, and good numerical skills, and an ability to synthesize and interpret large volumes of data. Additionally, we seek a comfortable individual with quantitative analysis and problem-solving skills, able to multi-task and meet project deadlines, with strong verbal and written communication skills, fluent in English, and good writing skills to prepare professional analyses and reports. Good/advanced knowledge of Python and/or R is a distinctive advantage.
