We are seeking an experienced Pressure System Safety Specialist to join our inspection team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and integrity of pressure systems across various sites in the UK.

About the Role

As a Pressure System Safety Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to conduct inspections of pressure systems and equipment at designated sites. You will ensure that all inspections are completed on time and in accordance with regulatory requirements. Your reports will provide valuable insights into the condition of the systems, enabling the company to make informed decisions about maintenance and upgrades.

You will work closely with other inspectors, maintenance staff, and plant personnel to coordinate examinations and planned shutdowns. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage multiple tasks will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities

Some of your key responsibilities will include:
  • Conducting thorough inspections of pressure systems and equipment to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Preparing detailed reports highlighting any defects or areas of concern
  • Working collaboratively with the inspection team to plan and coordinate examinations
  • Liaising with maintenance and plant staff to schedule shutdowns and ensure seamless operations

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • A strong background in engineering, preferably as an Engineering Technician
  • Proven experience in conducting UT thickness measurements, dye penetrant examinations, and magnetic particle examinations
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • A full UK driving license
