About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Research and Insights Manager to join our team at Vanilla Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading our research and insights function, working closely with our Account Directors to ensure targets are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a dynamic team of researchers and insights professionals, championing the importance of research across the board.
  • Work closely with Account Directors to ensure research targets are met and exceeded.
  • Develop and implement research strategies to drive business growth and improve client relationships.
  • Manage a budget to ensure the team has the resources they need to excel, including training, software, and hardware.
  • Invest time and energy into developing and growing the insights function, ensuring the right people are in the right positions.

Requirements:

  • Proven career track record in research management, including extensive agency experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of sectors such as retail, hospitality, FMCG, and more.
  • Ability to confidently present research findings to clients.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience of developing and growing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
