Firesprite is seeking an experienced Gameplay Programmer Specialist to join our team in Liverpool. In this role, you will design and develop gameplay systems, working closely with designers to bring their vision to life.

About the Role:
  • Game System Development: Use C++ and blueprinting to create systems that meet the needs of designers.
  • Code Optimization: Write scalable and reusable code with performance in mind, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Build Stability: Maintain, extend, and optimize existing game systems and features, ensuring overall build performance and stability.
What You'll Need:
  • C++ Expertise: Knowledge of C++ and overall software engineering and debugging skills.
  • Technological Knowledge: Stay updated with recent advancements in technology.
  • Mathematical Skills: Strong 3D maths and problem-solving skills.
  • Unreal Engine Mastery: Unreal Engine 5 knowledge, including knowledge of Blueprints.
  • Game Enthusiasm: A passion for games and game creation.

Our estimated salary range for this position is £65,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package and the chance to work on innovative game projects.
