About the Role

As a Transport Team Leader at Greggs, you will be an integral part of our operations team, playing a key role in ensuring our shops are fully stocked with the nation's favourite products.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and motivate your team to achieve daily targets and results.
  • Ensure health and safety procedures are followed by your team members.
  • Collaborate with the Transport Supervisor to achieve operational goals.
  • Roll up your sleeves to get behind the wheels of our trucks to ensure efficient delivery of products to our shops.
About You

We're looking for someone who has experience leading a team and is passionate about contributing to their success. As a Transport Team Leader, you'll need to have a valid HGV Category CE/Class 1 or Category C/Class 2 driving license with no more than 6 penalty points. You should also hold an up-to-date Driver CPC card and training, as well as a valid digital Tachograph card.

You'll be comfortable planning and organizing your work and time, as well as your team's. You should be familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel, and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
