Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Teaching Assistant to join our team at Step Teachers. As a Nursery Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of young children in a nursery setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging activities that promote learning and development.
  • Provide pastoral support to children, fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing feedback on children's progress and achievements.
  • Assist with the preparation of learning materials and resources.

Requirements:

  • A Level 3 Teaching Assistant/Early Years qualification or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working as an EYFS Teaching Assistant.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.
