We are seeking a talented Physics graduate to join our team as an Academic Mentor, dedicated to supporting and enhancing exam performance across a secondary school in Tower Hamlets.
This is a full-time term-time only role, lasting until July 2025, with a competitive salary of £420-£500 per week, paid weekly on a PAYE basis.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum 2:1 Physics degree from a top UK University and experience working with children.
Key responsibilities include:
- Running small groups interventions and 1:1 sessions with students who need extra support
- Collaborating with teaching staff to ensure a cohesive approach to student learning and development
- Comfortable supporting GCSE Biology, Chemistry and Physics, with the opportunity to support Sixth Form students
- Assisting Years 7-11 students applying to Top UK Universities
The school itself is Ofsted Outstanding, with amazing like-minded support staff and Teachers, making this role ideal for an aspiring Teacher, keen to gain hands-on experience.
Located in Central East London, the school has excellent transport links, making it easily accessible.
