Master Craftsman

Salary: £12.50 - £14.75 per hour (full-time, permanent position)

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team in Leeds, West Yorkshire.

• Machining and preparing timber materials to specified quality standards is essential for this role.
• The ideal candidate will have experience operating machinery, including Edgebanders, Beam Saws, and CNC machines.
• Timely delivery of components and assemblies to factory departments is critical.
• Conducting regular quality checks and identifying faults ensures high-quality products.
• Performing general tasks as assigned by Line leaders or Managers is also required.
• Adhering to Health & Safety policies and guidelines is mandatory.

• Prior experience with CNC machines, preferably with wood, is necessary for success in this role.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team is crucial.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail are vital.
• Basic Health & Safety knowledge is expected.
• Initiative to stay busy and meet targets is essential.
• Effective communication skills are required.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn are desirable qualities.
