WizeHire, Inc is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a dedicated professional, you will be responsible for ensuring the facilities receive the care they deserve.

The ideal candidate will have previous general maintenance experience, practical skills, and a knack for troubleshooting.

This role involves regular inspections to identify issues or damage, routine maintenance on equipment, and emergency building repairs.

You will collaborate with front office staff to coordinate tasks and maintain a welcoming environment for guests.

Responsibilities
  • Perform interior and exterior property maintenance.
  • Complete guestroom work orders efficiently.
  • Repair heating, cooling, and plumbing systems.
  • Respond promptly to guest needs.
  • Perform painting tasks, including patching drywall and caulking.
  • Deliver and remove furnishings as needed.
  • Participate in preventative maintenance programs.
  • Complete daily responsibilities and provide excellent customer service.
  • Ensure equipment and systems are in working order.
  • Check the building for damage and make repairs as needed.
  • Take additional maintenance requests as assigned.
  • Record equipment service and repairs.
  • Develop and execute preventative maintenance measures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED, or three years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Fluent English reading, writing, and speaking skills.
  • Knowledge of heating, air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Excellent work ethic, communication, time management, and attention to detail.
  • At least two years of maintenance experience.
  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent required.
  • Availability to respond on nights and weekends to on-call maintenance requests.
  • Strong understanding of maintenance equipment, techniques, and procedures.
Compensation

$22-$24 per hour
