About the Role

The Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum Consultant to join our Oncology Department. As a senior member of the team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the department's continued success.

Main Responsibilities

As a Locum Consultant, you will be responsible for providing evidence-based care to patients in a multidisciplinary setting. This will involve working closely with colleagues to develop and implement treatment plans, as well as contributing to the department's clinical audit and continuing medical education activities.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical oncology, with experience in research and good practical clinical skills. They will also have demonstrable ability to manage priorities, lead project teams, and contribute to the development of sub-specialty interests that fit in with the division's needs and strategic direction.
