About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Cleaner to join our support team at Tadley Court School. As a Housekeeper/Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness in our homes and ensuring that all areas are safe and comfortable for our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining daily cleaning schedules and ensuring all areas are clean and tidy
  • Supervising the staff team and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently
  • Keeping up-to-date with routine maintenance checks and reporting any issues to the relevant authorities
  • Providing a safe and supportive environment for our students

Requirements:

  • Experience of daily cleaning schedules and maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to respond quickly to requests for assistance

About Us:

Tadley Court School is a day school specialising in the education and care of children and young people between the ages of 5 and 19 years who are diagnosed as being on the autistic spectrum with associated learning difficulties. Our students may also exhibit challenging behaviour as a result of their communication difficulties and lack of social understanding.

We offer a safe, structured and predictable environment where students can develop the skills needed to live as independently as possible, allowing them to make real life choices as they approach and reach adulthood.
