Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor the receipt, order assembly, and dispatch of goods to meet tight operational deadlines.
- Manage and motivate a small team of warehouse operatives, providing training, coaching, and guidance as needed.
- Ensure accurate inventory management, including updating the stock system and advising Campaign Managers of receipt.
- Oversee the checking and inspection of goods received, ensuring they meet quality and quantity standards.
- Update and maintain company asset management systems and registers.
- Liaise with Campaign Managers, Field Support Managers, Suppliers, and Transport Companies to ensure seamless logistics operations.
- Coordinate the dispatch and delivery of goods, including contacting courier companies as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, championing safe working practices and adhering to safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in people management, with the ability to support staff training, development, and engagement.
- Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, handling diverse product types.
- Understanding of material and stock management techniques, inventory management control methods, and procedures.
- Ability to plan and prioritize daily workload, delegating tasks as needed.
- Basic computer skills, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and specialist stock tracking software.
- Understanding of Health & Safety Regulations and Guidelines.
- Forklift License - Counterbalance.
- Full Driving License.
- Ability to work a 40-hour week, with flexibility to accommodate occasional overtime and weekends.
