Job Overview

About the Role

This full-time, on-site position requires 5+ years of experience in IT support, with proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications and advanced understanding of Microsoft Entra, Intune, Purview, Defender, SharePoint Online, and Exchange Online.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line IT support to users across the organization, logging all incidents and service requests accurately and resolving them efficiently.
  • Install, configure, and support all company technology assets, including desktops, laptops, cloud applications, software, hardware, printers, and smartphones.
  • Maintain essential IT functions such as operating systems, security updates, antivirus, and applications.
  • Administer and maintain the company network, managing switches and Wi-Fi access points for optimal performance.
  • Handle inquiries and tickets through the service desk, communicating effectively with customers, colleagues, and third-party vendors.
  • Set up new employees, manage IT equipment, and maintain asset registers for all IT resources.
  • Allocate, reallocate, and track company assets such as laptops, peripherals, and smartphones, ensuring accurate records are maintained within IT systems.
  • Provide IT support for small projects, office moves, and internal or external events, setting up and testing necessary equipment.
  • Design, document, implement, test, and manage systems and networks to ensure they align with business requirements and function seamlessly.
  • Implement software upgrades and troubleshoot any issues that arise to ensure continuous operation.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in IT support.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and advanced understanding of Microsoft Entra, Intune, Purview, Defender, SharePoint Online, and Exchange Online.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, self-manage, and work with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent troubleshooting abilities and creative problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or Electronics (preferred).
  • Level 2 Certificate in ICT Systems Support.
  • Level 3 Diploma in ICT Professional Competence.
  • T Level Technical Qualification in Digital Support Services (Level 3).
  • Certifications in CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft 365, or Azure.

Working Conditions

This role is based in Aldgate (EC3A) and requires working hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Estimated Salary

The estimated salary for this role is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
