Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Technician

Are you an experienced mechanic looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Technician to join our team at Command Recruitment. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for performing a range of tasks, including PDI inspections, light mechanical repairs, and vehicle preparation for resale.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform PDI inspections on vehicles to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Carry out light mechanical repairs, including brake pad replacements, suspension work, and head unit replacements.
  • Prepare vehicles for resale, including cleaning, polishing, and making any necessary adjustments.


Requirements:
  • A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in vehicle maintenance and repair.
  • Experience working as a mechanic or in a similar role.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
  • An estimated salary of £38,640-£40,940 per year, depending on experience.
