Job Title: Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Lecturer/AssessorAbout the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Lecturer/Assessor to join our team at Bath College. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and assessment to our students, ensuring they receive the best possible education and training in the field of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high standards of teaching and learning, monitoring assessment processes in accordance with examination requirements.
  • Deliver up to Level 3 Refrigeration and Air Conditioning standards and programmes using appropriate teaching methods.
  • Produce schemes of work, lesson plans, assessment plans, learning materials, and other related activities that impact on the effectiveness of learning.
  • Plan and deliver specialist sessions in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, using appropriate teaching methods, while promoting diversity within the industry and the College.
  • Coordinate and maintain records of formative and summative assessments of students' learning carried out by the course team.
  • Work proactively to forward the success and vision of the department.
Requirements
  • Level 2 (e.g. GCSE) English and Maths at Grade B or above.
  • Qualified to Level 3, or equivalent, in a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning discipline.
  • TAQA Assessor Award (or willing to work towards).
  • L5 Teaching Qualification (or willing to work towards).
