Physical Health Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physical Health Nurse to join our team at Priory Group. As a Physical Health Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring that patients receive high-quality physical healthcare assessments and care plans.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough physical healthcare assessments on admission and develop individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with medical colleagues to ensure that patient care needs are met.
- Provide training and support to nursing staff on physical healthcare needs and best practices.
- Liaise with primary care services to ensure that patients receive timely and effective care.
- Lead on IPC audits and ensure that outbreaks and notifiable diseases are reported and managed in accordance with Group and Divisional policy.
- Qualified Registered General Nurse (RGN) with 2 years post-registration experience.
- Active NMC registration and completed preceptorship programme.
- Knowledge of NMC guidelines and professional practices.
- Evidence of post-registration continuing professional development.
