Job Opportunity:

Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship

The Aspire Training Team is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to complete their Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship at Jack and Jill Day Nursery in Corfe Mullen.

As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality care and education to children, working towards your Level 3 NVQ in Childcare. Your duties will include interacting with children in a way that promotes learning through play, conducting observations, and contributing to weekly planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Treat children as individuals and promote their unique needs and interests.
  • Participate in all play and education activities, ensuring a positive and engaging environment.
  • Conduct observations to inform planning and improve practice.
  • Contribute to the development of weekly plans, ensuring a cohesive and effective approach to childcare.
  • Model professional behavior, adhering to policies and procedures at all times.
  • Work collaboratively as a full member of the team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive work environment.

Requirements:

  • A passion for working with children and a commitment to gaining qualifications in this field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, colleagues, and parents.
  • Able to work a minimum of 30 hours per week, with shift patterns to be discussed.
  • Must be able to gain a clear DBS and meet the necessary qualifications, including GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language.

Working Hours:

  • The nursery is open all year-round, from 8.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00am to 5.00pm on Friday.
