South Moor Lodge Care Home, a leading provider of personal and dementia care, is seeking an experienced and compassionate Care Professional Leader to join our team. As a Care Professional Leader, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained for our residents.


**Estimated Salary:** £13.56 per hour


About the Role:


As a Care Professional Leader, you will be responsible for leading your shift team to ensure that our residents receive the best possible care and support. This will involve promoting their independence, dignity, and respect, as well as their physical and emotional wellbeing. You will also be responsible for completing daily medication rounds, documenting consistently, and ensuring that daily charts are completed to a high standard.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead your shift team to maintain high standards of care and support
  • Promote residents' independence, dignity, and respect
  • Complete daily medication rounds and document consistently
  • Ensure daily charts are completed to a high standard
  • Challenge poor practice and promote good practice in all aspects of care

Requirements:


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • Relevant professional qualification (e.g., Registered Nurse or NVQ minimum level 3)
  • Minimum of two years experience as a Care Assistant in a residential or nursing home setting
  • Awareness of the principles of Person-Centred Care Planning
  • Knowledge of the prevention of abuse of vulnerable adults, recognition of the signs of abuse, and procedures to follow in the event of an allegation of abuse
  • Ability to work under pressure and lead a team
