Engineering Apprentice

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to gain an Apprenticeship, working with industry experts in a friendly welcoming environment.
The Apprenticeship will be a mix of online and face-to-face training through Microsoft Education, with occasional visits to an external training centre for practical learning.
- Conduct thorough examinations and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Identify parts and timings required to carry out installation, repair, and maintenance activities.
- Carry out routine maintenance and replace parts as needed to prevent downtime.
- Manage work allocation using IT and paper-based planning systems to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Perform maintenance on manually operated appliances and maintain mechanical tools, ensuring they are calibrated and the workshop is kept tidy.
- Provide guidance to customers and clients on product information, including accessories and parts.
- Assemble products according to industry standards, ensuring quality and precision.
- Safely decommission equipment at the end of its lifespan.
- Prepare reports using clear, concise language suitable for various audiences.
- Maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Requirements:
- A positive 'can-do' attitude.
- A willingness to learn and develop knowledge through extensive studies.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- An interest in engineering and a desire to grow professionally.
Full-time/permanent opportunity, Monday to Friday 08:00-17:00, with a salary range of £29,250-£29,500 per annum, commensurate with experience.
