About the Role
We are seeking a highly analytical and commercially aware Finance Manager to drive performance and deliver financial targets in our Digital Retail business unit. This is an exciting opportunity to join our commercial finance team and support the strategy of our fastest growing area of the retail business.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Trading Director and their teams to understand their performance and inform future commercial decisions.
- Review end-to-end P&L to identify gross contribution improvements.
- Review and approve business cases and business investment.
- Support in investment appraisals and work with project teams to deliver investments from concept to post-investment.
- Support in creating a strategic and stretching plan.
- Hold commercial teams to account for delivering their budget/forecast and 3YP.
- Improve the profitability of the Digital Retail Business Unit.
Requirements
- Can communicate and influence effectively to stakeholders at all levels, and hold business partners to account.
- Highly analytical with experience in reporting and reviewing the quality and accuracy of data.
- Resilient and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent Excel and SAP BW skills.
Desirable Skills
- Experience as a Finance Manager with strong commercial awareness – Commercial/Business Partnering.
- Knowledge of Commercial TM1 reporting and Power BI.
