About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and communicative Property Assistant to join our team at KMK Recruitment Limited. As a Residential and Helpdesk Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing our portfolio of properties, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Helpdesk Management
    • Provide a professional, responsive, and efficient helpdesk service to all customers and contractors
    • Maintain regular communication and updates internally and externally
    • Manage and coordinate contractors to drive actions/jobs to swift resolution
    • Ensure maintenance and compliance documentation is up to date in the system
  • Residential Support
    • Assist the residential team with routine tasks, including inputting leases, drafting and sending tenancy documents, and managing tenancy credit referencing
    • Manage the residential welcome and exit processes, including welcome packs, meeting tenants, and deposit administration
    • Liaise with tenants, letting agents, and other third parties
    • Manage vacant unit post and associated utility changes
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Ensure property and compliance data is kept up to date on central systems
    • Manage key processes and access cards for agents, customers, and contractors
    • Assist the team with collection of arrears and account queries
    • Perform daily administration tasks, including fielding calls, diary management, and data entry
Requirements
  • Working towards or interested in RICS, IRPM, ARLA, or equivalent qualifications
  • At least two years' experience running a busy property helpdesk and supporting residential property management
  • Strong practical knowledge of the end-to-end letting process and associated legislations and best practice
  • Good technical knowledge and understanding of leases
  • First-class communication skills and ability to build relationships at all levels
