About the Role

As an Emergency Medicine Specialist at University College London Hospital, you will be part of a dedicated team that provides 24/7 emergency care to patients from diverse backgrounds. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team, including consultants, registrars, and other healthcare professionals, to provide comprehensive care to patients presenting with a wide range of medical emergencies.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in emergency medicine, preferably in an urban setting, and will possess excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • To provide high-quality patient care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures
  • To contribute to the development of our emergency medicine services, including quality improvement initiatives and educational programs
  • To work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless patient care and effective teamwork

Person Specification

Essential Criteria

  • MB BS or equivalent qualification
  • Full GMC registration
  • At least three months' experience in emergency medicine
  • ALS or ACLS certification

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience in specialties allied to emergency medicine: medicine, anaesthetics, ICU, paediatrics, surgery, and orthopaedics

Salary Information

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £60,000-£80,000 per annum, depending on experience. The Trust uses electronic new starter forms on Trac to collect personal details.
