Experienced Plant Manager

Astute People's Renewables team is partnering with a leading renewable energy provider to recruit a skilled Plant Manager for their anaerobic digestion site in North London.
Key Responsibilities- Optimise plant operations to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
- Manage feedstock processing and planning to meet site requirements.
- Provide weekly and monthly reports on plant performance, trends, and data analysis.
- Develop solutions to technical variances and implement site maintenance and PPM coordination.
- Manage external contractors and relationships with external bodies, such as the Environmental Agency.
- Lead and manage on-site colleagues, including Operators and Engineers.
- Perform first-line mechanical maintenance and escalate complex faults to on-call technicians.
- Relevant engineering qualification, such as chemical or mechanical, is an advantage.
- WAMITAB AD certification is highly desirable.
- Mobile Plant licence or time-served experience is required.
- Full UK driving licence is essential.
- Proven experience at a managerial or supervisory level in anaerobic digestion or a similar waste processing environment.
- Hands-on approach and ability to lead by example.
- Excellent computer literacy and a passion for continuous improvement.
- Salary of up to £57,500 plus outer London weighting allowance.
- Company bonus and private medical insurance.
- Company van and 25 days holiday, plus Bank Holidays.
