Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and passionate Humanities subject specialist to join our pool of supply staff in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher to work in various schools across the city, on their own schedule, gaining experience in different educational settings while helping ensure continuity of learning for students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging lessons in your subject specialism or other subjects as required.
  • Follow lesson plans provided by the regular teacher or adapt to the needs of the class.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Support students of all abilities, including those with special educational needs (SEND) if applicable.
  • Collaborate with other staff members and communicate effectively with school leadership.
  • Maintain a high standard of professional conduct and appearance.
Key Requirements:
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Have proven experience working as a teacher, either on a permanent or supply basis.
  • Exhibit strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students.
  • Show flexibility and adaptability to work across different subjects, age groups, and school environments.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Hold an Enhanced DBS check (we can assist in obtaining this if needed).
  • Show passion for teaching and making a positive impact on student learning.
