About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity to work within our Justice and Social Care division, focused on delivering tailored support to participants across various contracts. As a Volunteer Support Specialist, you will collaborate with colleagues to provide support to participants, promoting healthy relationships and minimising reoffending risks.

Your responsibilities will include spending time with participants, assisting them in accessing vital services and engaging with their local community. You will also actively promote Seetec's values through pro-social modelling and engage in regular supervision sessions with the volunteer coordinator.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support Participant Development: Assist participants in achieving their goals by providing practical and emotional support, encouraging engagement with appointments, and helping them access necessary resources.
  2. Promote Seetec Values: Engage in activities that promote Seetec's values, including pro-social modelling, and participate in regular supervision sessions with the volunteer coordinator.
  3. Report and Provide Feedback: Document participant-related issues and complete feedback notes after each support session, ensuring professional boundaries are maintained.
