Leading Practitioner for English

We are seeking an experienced Senior Support Practitioner to join our team at Grove Lodge and Courtyard, a specialist residential care home for adults with mental health diagnoses. As a Senior Support Practitioner, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional person-centred support to our residents while mentoring and supervising your colleagues.
Your primary focus will be ensuring that every resident receives high-quality care while helping your team thrive in their roles. You will balance providing hands-on care with supporting and supervising your team, focusing on empowering residents to develop daily living skills and promoting independence.
This role requires a mix of practical care and supervisory responsibilities, so you must be confident in managing multiple tasks while prioritizing residents' wellbeing. Key Responsibilities:
- Mentoring and Coaching: Supporting your team with training and guidance to ensure they excel in their roles.

- Care Planning: Ensuring residents' care plans are comprehensive, up-to-date, and consistently followed.
- Medication Management: Dispensing medication accurately and maintaining detailed records.
Requirements:
- Experience working in a care home or similar environment.
- Experience supervising and mentoring a team (preferred).
- Holds a Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification (or is committed to achieving one).
