About the Role:

Gama Aviation LLC is currently recruiting for an enthusiastic Ground Support Equipment Engineer to work within our dynamic team at our Bournemouth base facility. This role will involve managing and servicing aircraft ground support equipment, maintaining the hangar and office complex, and overseeing company vehicle servicing and repairs.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical maintenance principles, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office programs.

The estimated salary for this position is £50,000-£65,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including a 5-5-4 shift pattern, comprehensive life assurance, and private healthcare after successful probation.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and coordinate daily aircraft movements with the shift leads and lead engineers
  • Coordinate and perform aircraft pushback and towing, including aircraft manoeuvring in/out of the hangar
  • Maintain required records in relation to ground handling operations
Requirements:
  • Recognised industry qualification in a mechanical or automotive discipline
  • Extensive experience of mechanical maintenance of vehicles, marine, or plant equipment
  • Highly skilled in general maintenance of plant equipment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office programs, including Word and Excel
