Aspire People Limited is currently recruiting Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA) to work in Primary schools (KS1 / KS2) based in Nottinghamshire and surrounding areas.

We are seeking a talented and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team, who is passionate about building relationships quickly and working in small groups.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of supporting student learning, with a strong empathy and understanding of individual student needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the teacher with classroom management and lesson delivery, ensuring a smooth and effective learning environment
  • Supporting the development and implementation of lesson plans, adapting activities to meet the needs of all students
  • Assisting in monitoring student progress and providing feedback to help them achieve their learning goals
  • Providing targeted support for small groups or 1:1 interventions, particularly for children struggling with mathematics or reading
  • Thinking on their feet to create engaging and relevant activities that complement the lesson and enhance student understanding
  • Working closely with teachers and other staff to create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
