Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and supportive school community. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities or experience as a care or support worker.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting students with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Social Communication difficulties.
  • Assisting in the implementation of tailored educational programs.
  • Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Working collaboratively with teachers and other staff to provide holistic support.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with SEND children or young people.
  • Background in care or support work is highly desirable.
  • A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
