Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Land and Partnerships Manager to join our team at Keepmoat Homes. As a key member of our regional business team, you will play a crucial role in delivering our growth plans and driving business success.

Main Responsibilities

  • Identify, assess, and progress potential land and partnership opportunities suitable for our business, in accordance with our Quality Management System.
  • Lead and supervise bid submissions, taking ownership of legal agreement negotiations on projects.
  • Support the Land and Partnerships Director in negotiating land values and lead involvement in project Community Engagement and Investment.
  • Develop relationships with partner organisations and other Keepmoat companies to advance scheme progress and explore additional opportunities.
  • Prepare and produce regular updates and reports as required by the L&P Director.
  • Support with regular updates regarding existing land holdings and proposed future land purchases.

People Management Responsibilities

  • Lead and build a motivated and engaged team, recruiting the right talent into the business.
  • Develop your team members by enabling and motivating them to be the best they can, building a strong talent pipeline to support business growth.
  • Undertake bi-annual Performance Development Reviews with your team members and address performance, behavioural, and absence issues in a supportive manner.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a land and/or development role with a house builder or RP/development company.
  • Experience in land acquisition and dealing with planning applications.
  • Financial and commercial acumen, with the ability to influence senior decision makers.
  • Strong negotiating skills and the ability to manage effectively across functional teams.
