About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Semi Senior to join our team in Preston. This is a great opportunity for a dedicated professional to take on a challenging role within a forward-thinking firm.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional accounting and tax compliance services to our diverse client base. This includes preparing statutory and management accounts, handling corporation tax compliance, and managing bookkeeping and VAT work.

Key Tasks:
  1. Preparing year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships
  2. Assisting with basic corporation tax and personal tax returns
  3. Preparing and submitting VAT returns
  4. Communicating with HMRC on behalf of clients to resolve queries
Requirements:

Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for this role:

  1. AAT Qualified or nearing completion of AAT, ACA, or ACCA studies
  2. Prior experience working in an accountancy practice is essential
  3. Strong knowledge of relevant accounting standards
