Corporate Tax Advisory & Compliance Manager
KPMG's Corporate Tax Advisory & Compliance team is a key component of our business, operating from Nottingham and serving the region with expertise and diligence. We're seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager Assistant to join our East Midlands team, based in Nottingham.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide UK Tax Advisory services to support clients in achieving their commercial objectives.
- Be the principal point of contact with smaller clients on day-to-day tax matters, working with senior management on larger clients with additional complexities.
- Involve in tax advisory and planning work, including due diligence, refinancing, corporate reorganisations, and tax structuring advice.
- Ensure clients are kept up to date with emerging corporate and wider tax developments impacting their business.
- Work with tax specialists and overseas offices to provide a coordinated service and deliver expertise to clients.
- Respond to client requests for other KPMG services, developing and maintaining relationships to create opportunities for tax and other services.
- Manage the tax compliance cycle, delivered by our dedicated central tax service team.
- Supervise junior members of staff, coaching and developing junior staff.
- Ensure fees are raised regularly, identifying situations where overruns can be billed and assisting managers/senior managers in billing for advisory work.
- Support leadership with business development and proposal opportunities.
- Ensure all risk procedures are adhered to.
- Be a role model for KPMG's values.
Requirements:
- CTA/CA/ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent qualification).
- Previous Corporate Tax experience with a commitment to developing technical knowledge.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication skills.
- Communicates with impact, in a way that is open, honest, consistent, and clear.
- High level of drive, shows enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
- Ability to multi-task, managing a wide range of projects and relationships.
