About the Role:

Dover Corporation is seeking an experienced Electronic Assembly Technician to join our team at Microwave Products Group (MPG), a leading global provider of mission-critical engineered electronic components and subsystems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building and assembling high-quality electronic components using appropriate machinery and tools to ensure quality and proficiency in the completed product.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Building and assembling electronic components, subassemblies, products, or systems according to work orders, production drawings, and sample assemblies.
  2. Using various methods, including crimping, staking, screwing, welding, soldering, cementing, press fitting, or performing similar operations to join or secure parts in place.
  3. Connecting component lead wires to printed circuit boards or routing and connecting wires between individual component leads and other components, connectors, terminals, and contact points.
  4. Maintaining and ensuring the quality and accuracy of assembled components and parts.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in electronics engineering technology or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in electronic assembly or related field; prior experience with soldering, welding, and precision assembly techniques highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with electronic test equipment and metrology tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under time constraints.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
