About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Director to join our Asset Finance team at Metro Bank Plc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for sourcing asset finance opportunities and growing long-term relationships with customers and brokers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Source asset finance opportunities from customers, bank relationship managers, and brokers.
  2. Develop and implement account management plans to drive business growth.
  3. Write credit applications for larger deals, including financial and asset analysis.
  4. Provide excellent customer service to grow relationships and increase Metro's share of customers' and brokers' asset finance opportunities.
  5. Maximise profitability by originating business that fits within Metro's credit and pricing appetite.
Requirements
  1. Understanding of asset finance products and their features and benefits.
  2. Experience in writing credit applications, including analysis of debt serviceability and asset strip risk.
  3. Ability to read and interpret financial accounts and management information.
  4. Familiarity with asset finance documentation and general knowledge of hard assets.
  5. Understanding of the risks associated with the role and the impact on Metro Bank and stakeholders.
